Being passionate about all things theatre has long been part of the De Abreu family history. So when Joe and Colleen De Abreu founded Austage in 1994 it was the most natural move. It just made sense.

Everything started in a small warehouse on Mitchell Road in Alexandria, Sydney; Joe and Colleen worked furiously to build the business from the ground up. Austage Events quickly became experts in spaces such as corporate, education, entertainment and fashion. Within the first decade, they grew to be a national company. Setting up local offices in Melbourne and Perth to service the local markets, with affiliates in between.

Through tireless work in the Not for Profit space, Joe and Colleen established long-standing relationships with key local charities that Austage Events still supports today.

Austage Events still has two generations of De Abreus working in the business and are proud to say that Austage Events is an Australian family owned and run business.

Austage Events is a full service audio visual experience company. We have been creating world-class event experiences for the corporate, fashion, entertainment, education and not for profit spaces since 1994.

Leading in Technical Direction, we have a team of in-house Technical Directors who are passionate about bringing your event vision to life. All of our Technical Directors are experts in AV Technical Production and will support you every step of the way, from concepts and planning to event management and execution.

We specialise in a range of events; large scale expos, fashion weeks, product launches, awards nights, corporate conferences, seminars to small intimate dinners. If your event is little different, speak to us. We love a new challenge. We love being part of what success looks like for our clients.

Austage Events carries an extensive range of high tech equipment, that is available nationally. Including lighting, staging, rigging, large scale screens, speaker systems. We will always have the right technology that suits your event and budget. You will have access to innovative applications that can generate 2D or 3D visual insights into how your event will look. By having a national presence, we can build and manage your event anywhere.
