On 12 December 2025, the Austage Fed Square team had the honour of delivering the audio visual production management and show operate crew for Victoria’s Treaty: It’s Here, a free ceremony and celebration at John Cain Arena on Wurundjeri country.
The historic event marked the start of Victoria’s Treaty era with a ceremonial exchange between Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan, Minister for Treaty and First Peoples Natalie Hutchins and the First Peoples’ Assembly Co-Chairs Ngarra Murray and Reuben Berg.
A celebration of dance and song included musical performances by Yothu Yindi, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Briggs, Baker Boy, Alice Skye, Deborah Cheetham Fraillon and Uncle Kutcha Edwards.
A big thank you to the Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation (MAP Co) and the Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust for the opportunity to be a part of this significant event for Victoria and to the team of incredible suppliers and crew who helped bring this large-scale arena show together with a very short lead time. This is certainly an event to be proud of!
